先日8bitのコントローラーを紹介したのは使いやすさもあるんですが
BIGBIG WON Rainbow 2 SE の ドングル が ペアリング出来なくなったからなんですが
そもそも、ツールを使ってマクロを組んだり連射速度を変えたり
こっちのほうが圧倒的に高機能なんですが、有線で使うのがどうもなじめなかった

このデザインとショルダーボタンや背面ボタンにいろいろ割り当てられるのはすごい
何とかドングルでペアリングしたかったので調べてみると
「bigbig won の 緊急ツール」があってファームウェアをロールバックするといいらしい

zipファイルがダウンロードされるので解凍して BUpgrade.exe を実行
赤枠の部分をクリックするとファームウェアの選択画面になります

コントローラーをusbでつ内でからダウングレードします
ファームウェアはダウンロードしたzipファイルの中に複数機種分あるので
フォルダの中から 「Rainbow2SE_2908.bup」を選択して開くを選択し
アップデートをクリックすると安定版のファームウェアが書き換えられます
この後USBドングルをPCに刺してペアリング操作をしたら元通りペアできるようになりました
新しいファームウェアに書き換えるとペアリングしなくなるのは何とかしてほしいですね
(まぁこのバージョンでも安定していろいろできるので便利ですけど)

This was because the BIGBIG WON Rainbow 2 SE dongle stopped pairing.
To begin with, using the software tool to set up macros or change the rapid-fire speed makes it overwhelmingly more feature-rich, but I just couldn't get used to using a wired connection.

The design and the ability to assign various functions to the shoulder and back buttons are amazing, though.
Since I really wanted to pair it via the dongle, I looked into it and found that there is a "BIGBIG WON Emergency Tool" (BIGBIG WON Recovery Tool), and apparently rolling back the firmware fixes the issue.

A zip file will be downloaded, so extract it and run BUpgrade.exe.
Clicking the red-outlined area opens the firmware selection screen.
Connect the controller via USB, then proceed to downgrade. Since the zip file contains firmware files for multiple models, navigate to the folder, select "Rainbow2SE_2908.bup," click Open, and then click Update to rewrite it with the stable firmware.

After doing this, I plugged the USB dongle into the PC and performed the pairing operation, and it was able to pair again just like before.
I really hope they fix the issue where updating to the new firmware causes it to stop pairing. (Though even with this version, it's very convenient since it works stably and supports various functions.)
